Maura K. Logue
Biographical
Maura K. Logue is an associate at LLG. Maura came to LLG straight from law school after graduating cum laude from Marquette University Law School where she excelled in trial practice exercises. Since joining LLG, Maura has focused her practice on representing clients in complex business disputes, including contract claims, business torts, and trust and estate litigation. Maura also lends a hand in LLG’s unique Animal Law practice. Whether it be negotiating a settlement or taking a case to trial, Maura is prepared to strongly advocate for the client’s interests.
Maura is an avid learner and approaches each case with a sense of curiosity to understand each client’s specific needs and the facts underlying the dispute in which she has been engaged. Her curiosity leads to deep dives into the factual record and law to achieve the best possible outcome for LLG clients. Maura’s natural curiosity contributes to LLG’s client-focused team approach to strong and creative legal work. Working with clients and adversaries, Maura puts to good use her formal training, including her master’s degree in Forensic Psychology.

Representative Experience
Active member of litigation team representing the largest furniture manufacturers in the world in a multi-million-dollar breach of contract case over failed software delivery.
Assisted with the briefing, preparation, and successful dismissal of a defamation case against an animal rights group and its executive leadership for publishing findings of an investigation into cockfighting and trafficking of fighting animals in Kentucky.
Assisted in settling disputes residents of a co-operative condominium complex had with the Board of Directors regarding specific rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Drafted multiple contracts, including a licensing agreement for a podcast, equine liability contracts for a local humane society, and extracurricular activity permission slips.
Represent clients in small claims matters.
Assisted in the preparation of compendiums of Wisconsin law relating to Construction Law, Retail and Hospitality Law, Offers of Judgment, and Nullus Tempus.
Completed a jury trial as a student practitioner with the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.

Maura is actively involved in the greater Milwaukee community through professional and community associations including the Georgetown University Club of Wisconsin, Marquette University Alumni Association, and Greendale Lions Club. Maura also regularly volunteers with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics, including the Milwaukee Justice Center and the Mobile Legal Clinic.
