On Thursday, April 3^rd, Laffey, Leitner & Goode’s team of spelling superstars was the triple winner at the Sheboygan Family Resource Center’s Second Annual Spelling Bee Fundraiser.

Allison Laffey, Graham Billings, and Steph Wolfgang took the stage to battle other local teams for the grand prize.  Although the competition was fierce, Allison nailed the correct spelling of “supercilious” to secure first place for LLG. In addition, LLG successfully defended its title for the Spirit Award, and Heather Munroe took home the prize for the “Bumblebee” mini-game.

The true champion of the night was the Sheboygan Family Resource Center (FRC). A nonprofit organization established in 1997, the Sheboygan FRC is dedicated to supporting young children, their families, and adults through parenting education and adult literacy programs.

The Spelling Bee helps the Sheboygan FRC to continue their mission of providing families and individuals of Sheboygan County with free educational programming and resources to support a connected and thriving community.  LLG is a proud sponsor of the event, and can’t wait to bee back in 2026!
