LLG Partner Joseph S. Goode is the latest member of Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward (HTWA) Association’s Board of Directors. He was duly elected to the board on May 1 by the association’s members.

Executive Director Jim Plaisted says of Goode’s appointment, “Joe brings to the Historic Third Ward Association board a breadth of experience not only from the legal profession but in non-profit leadership and a strong volunteer background. We are looking forward to his contributions as we continue to execute the mission of the HTWA.”

The HTWA was created in 1976 to promote the economic interests of Milwaukee’s Third Ward. It’s a private non-profit that’s financed through membership, Business Improvement District No. 2 (BID), and city funds. The HTWA works closely with the BID and the Architectural Review Board to advance development throughout the Third Ward.

Laffey, Leitner & Goode LLC has been a part of the Third Ward since its inception in August 2016.
