LLG Attorneys Honored with ALDF Achievement Award
Jessica L. Farley, Mark M. Leitner, and Joseph S. Goode have been awarded the Animal Legal Defense Fund’s 2017 “Advancement in Animal Law Pro Bono Achievement Award.”

Jessica L. Farley, Mark M. Leitner, and Joseph S. Goode have been awarded the Animal Legal Defense Fund’s 2017 “Advancement in Animal Law Pro Bono Achievement Award.” This award recognizes outstanding dedication of pro bono legal services in helping ALDF achieve its mission to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system.

Managing Partner Joseph Goode said: “We are thrilled to have the ability to assist ALDF in its significant work on behalf of the animal community and consider being involved more than enough reward for our effort.”

“It’s rewarding to be able to work for a cause that our firm feels passionately about,” said Jessica Farley.

Founding Partner Mark Leitner added, “Lawyers are fighters. There’s no greater honor than to fight for those who can’t speak for themselves.”

Along with other law firms given the award, LLG will be highlighted in a future issue of ALDF’s newsletter, The Animals’ Advocate, and on its website at www.aldf.org.  Farley will attend the award ceremony in Los Angeles on behalf of the firm this November.

All of us at LLG are proud of Farley, Leitner, and Goode’s effort to win the case against cruelty to animals.
