Laffey, Leitner & Goode LLC is pleased to announce that Kathy Schill has been named the firm’s newest partner, effective Oct. 1. Previously a partner at an Am Law 200 firm, Schill brings extensive experience in civil litigation with a focus on patent and trademark disputes as well as other complex business matters. She is recognized for her strategic advocacy and legal analysis, representing clients from major corporations to small businesses.
“I’ve known Joe Goode for many years, and from the moment I connected with the firm, I was impressed by the energy, creativity and genuine commitment they bring to their clients,” said Schill. “I look forward to contributing my experience to LLG’s litigation practice while continuing to learn from and collaborate with such a talented team.”
In addition to client work, Schill is deeply committed to mentoring and professional development and looks forward to guiding the next generation of attorneys in their careers.

Schill is a cum laude graduate of Duke University Law School, previously earning cum laude honors for her Bachelor of Arts degree in history at the university. She is also active in the Milwaukee community, volunteering in the Shorewood School District and serving on multiple boards and committees at North Shore Congregational Church in Fox Point.
